Midlife Doesn't Have to Mean
Feeling This Way

    Common Signs of Hormone Changes

    You're Not Imagining It

Many women in perimenopause and menopause are told their symptoms are "just stress." They're not. These symptoms are real, common, and highly treatable.

    Hot Flashes & Night Sweats

Sudden waves of heat that disrupt sleep and daily life.

    Brain Fog

Difficulty concentrating, forgetting words, or feeling mentally "off".

    Sleep Disruption

Trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up feeling rested.

    Unexplained Weight Gain

Shifts in body composition that don't respond to diet or exercise alone.

    Mood Changes & Anxiety

Irritability, low mood, or new anxiety that seems to come from nowhere.

    Changes in Intimacy

Low desire, discomfort, or a loss of connection that's hard to explain.
Many women spend months or years being told it's just stress, just aging, or just something to push through. It doesn't have to be that way.
    A Different Kind of Care

What Working with a Menopause Specialist Looks Like

    01

Symptoms are taken seriously — not brushed off

A consultation starts with actually listening. Every symptom has a cause, and understanding that cause is the first step toward feeling better.
    02

    Evidence-based treatments — not guesswork

Options may include hormone therapy, non-hormonal treatments, weight management support, and more — all backed by decades of research and chosen based on individual needs.
    03

100% telehealth — from anywhere in CA or NV

No waiting rooms, no commute. Appointments happen over secure video from the comfort of home, on a schedule that works for you.
    04

    Personalized care — not a one-size-fits-all protocol

Every woman's experience with menopause is different. Treatment plans are built around individual symptoms, health history, and personal preferences.

While she is obviously very knowledgeable on all of the science of what's happening to me as my body is changing, she made sure to take the time to fully listen to how this is impacting me, made sure I fully understood all of my options & created a personalized plan for me. I look forward to following up with her on my progress!

She listens in a way that makes you slow down and exhale, because you know she’s actually hearing you, not just your words. I’m grateful to know her, and even more grateful for the way she has cared, understood, and supported me when I needed it most.

At 46, I suffered from severe pre-menopausal symptoms like nonexistent sleep, sweating, and uncontrollable mood swings. Other providers dismissed me, saying I was “too young.” Luckily, I found Dr. Culp, who truly listened and created a personalized treatment plan that works. She is an invaluable guide, and thanks to her, my family and I are immensely grateful for the quality of life I’ve regained.

"I did supplements, and it wasn't enough. I kept them and then added BHRT and focused on exercise and what I put in my mouth. Life-changing. Dana is amazing and is my provider. She was the seventh provider I saw, and I finally have hope."
    Shannon B.
I suffered with brain fog, no energy, no libido and depression for 24 years after being in surgical menopause. I had been to countless doctors and no one had answers UNTIL I met Dana Culp! From my first visit, I finally felt heard and understood. She has changed my life in ways I never thought possible. I finally have hope and in a very short time I’m already feeling better with HRT.

    Common Questions

    Is the consultation really free?

Yes. The initial consultation is completely free with no obligation. It's an opportunity to talk through symptoms, ask questions, and learn about options — with no commitment required.

    Is hormone therapy safe?

For most women, hormone therapy is safe and effective when prescribed appropriately. Research over the past two decades has clarified earlier concerns. Dana reviews the current evidence and explains what's appropriate for each person's unique health history.

What if hormones aren't the right fit?

There are effective non-hormonal options for managing symptoms like hot flashes, sleep disruption, and mood changes. Treatment plans are always based on individual preferences, health history, and comfort level.

    How does telehealth work?

All appointments happen over a secure video call. A link is provided before the appointment — no special apps needed. It works from a phone, tablet, or computer.

    What if it's not menopause?

Many women aren't sure whether their symptoms are related to perimenopause, menopause, or something else entirely. That's one of the reasons the consultation exists — to help clarify what's going on and point in the right direction.

    Is insurance accepted?

We are in network with most insurance providers in California, with more coming soon in other states. For the most current insurance information, please visit ThriveMidlifeMed.com. A superbill can be provided after your visit for possible reimbursement if we are not in-network with your plan. You can also choose a straightforward self-pay option, including HSA/FSA payments. The free consultation itself has no cost.
